TELL me QUIZ is a creative-thinking category-based game that can be played exactly like Polish "Państwa-miasta" game.

In "Tell me QUIZ" the answers change on every spin...

SCATTeRGORIeS Die-rolling Game

Ages: children, teenagers, adolescents, adults / 6 years & up

Average playing time: as long as you decide 2 play

Contents: Letter Wheel & Spinner, 50 Category Cards, Instructions.

How 2 play: (form the Instructions card)

OBJECT OF THE GAME:

To collect the most cards by being the first to call out a suitable answer.

PLAYING THE GAME:

There are two sets of questions on the cards. On each card the upper question, preceded by the large '?', is the more difficult. The questions preceded by a small '?' are for younger children, or for an easier game!

The decision as to which set to use should be made at the start of the game.

One player is selected to be the 'leader' and is responsible for spinning the wheel and asking the questions.

Questions could be asked in the following way: Leader takes the card and says: "Tell me... (reads the selected question on the card)... beginning with... (now spins the wheel and names the letter at which the spinner stops)"

Eg: "Tell me something found in the Kitchen beginning with.. T"

The first player to call out a suitable word beginning with that letter gets the card.

If two or more players call out the same word then the card is put back at the bottom of the pile for future use. If two or more players call out different words at the same moment then alphabetical order is used to determine the winner, eg: Leeds supersedes London. If no player comes up with a suitable answer after a reasonable amount of time, then the leader spins the wheel again and calls out another letter.

When a player has won the card the next player to the left becomes the leader and takes the next card from the pack and the game continues. When the pack is completed, the player with the most cards is the winner.

Alternatively, one player can take the role of leader for the whole of one game.

Please note: in all cases of dispute the decision of the leader holds good!

PLAYING WITH TEAMS:

Players group themselves into two teams, and the side winning the greatest number of cards is the winning team.

Play is as in the single game, with players from one team reading out the question for the other team, if a player calls out an incorrect answer before a correct one has been given then his team must give one of their cards to their opponents.

Instead of cards you can use the application below.

All you need is a letter die, alphabet cards deck or a letter wheel & spinner.
